    At a Glance

    • Variety: Pinot Noir
    • Vine Age: Planted in the 1940s
    • Terroir: On a steep slope at 370m altitude, with a 20% grade, south/southwest exposition, bordering Dezize-lès-Maranges. On well-draining, stony soil laden with limestone scree and substrates of blue/black marl.
    • Vinification: Double-sorted on a vibrating table and a sorting table. 100% de-stemmed. Minimal SO2 addition to the musts. 4-5 day cold maceration in wooden tanks. Ambient yeast fermentation with gentle punch-downs. Aged for 18 months in barrels (10% new). Blended and aged further in stainless steel tank. No fining and gentle filtration if necessary.
