Additional Info
"Noual is the only indigenous grape variety of the Lot region. It was long believed to have disappeared at the end of the 19th century, when phylloxera devastated the vineyards. However, it was later identified on two trellises in the village, propagated, and is now beginning to reappear – but there is less than 1 hectare in the whole world."
"We have had it since 2019, interplanted with other varieties in our white grape vineyard. A modest and shy variety, with large, juicy clusters and low alcohol, it usually enhances the other grapes in the Résurgences cuvée."
"In 2024, we wanted to celebrate the revival of this grape by vinifying it on its own. We chose to highlight its qualities using ancestral method, with a light effervescence that brings elegance and brilliance."
