    • Vine Age: Planted between 1962 and 2010
    • Terroir: From multiple sites in the Neckar valley in Hoheneck, south and southeast-facing, moderate to steep slopes, mostly terraced, “Muschelkalk”, pure limestone with clay.
    • Viticulture: Purchased grapes, sustainable, no herbicides. Some of the vineyards are farmed by Nils, organic (not certified) with biodynamic preparations.
    • Vinification: Manually harvested, pressed with whole clusters with an old manual basket press, ambient yeast fermentation in steel tank, aged for 23 months in used barrels, spontaneous malolactic conversion, no fining, no filtration, bottled and labeled by hand.
