- Terroir: From two sites in Lorch and Rüdesheim in the Rheingau, south and southwest-facing, loess-loam, quartzite and slate soils.
- Viticulture: Organic (not certified) with biodynamic trials
- Vinification: Directly pressed with whole clusters, settled overnight, ambient yeast fermentation and aging for 7 months on the lees in stainless steel tank, no blocked malolactic conversion, no fining or filtration, SO2 added about 1 month before bottling (45-60 ppm total).
