  • Location: Vosne-Romanée, Côte de Nuits, Burgundy
  • Size: Less than 3.00 hectares from 15 separate plots
  • Varieties: Aligoté, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
  • Viticulture: Organic (in official conversion), practicing biodynamic. Vineyards planted mostly with massale selections. All work is done manually, with minimal tractor usage for spraying and some plowing from May to July. The vineyard practices are customized based on the needs of the individual vine: vines are pruned with guyot simple, guyot-poussard, or gobelet methods and the canopy is either trimmed or tied.
  • Vinification: No added SO2 added before or during the primary fermentation, 15 ppm or less added after malolactic fermentation or later. Aged in barrels for about 13 months. Up to 30% new oak is used only for cuvées with more than 2 barrels produced. No fining, some light filtration. Bottled in autumn.
