  • Terroir: Les Vaudelles ("small valley"), facing Clos Durandière, cool site, late ripening, deep soils with strong water-retention capacity, marly substrate (grey marls from the Oxfordian stage of the Jurassic period).
  • Viticulture: Organic, biodynamic practices, Guyot-Poussard pruning, 5,000 vines/ha.
  • Vinification: Partial whole cluster inclusion (up to 20%), ambient yeast fermentation, no punch-downs or pump-overs. Aged for 24 months in barrels (<25% new), followed by another 6 months in vats and 6 months in bottle. SO2 first added after the first winter (< 25 ppm total). No fining or filtration.
