    Additional Info

The "4 V" cuvées originated with the brothers' desire to reveal the potential of their terroirs and to observe, understand, and experiment with their individual and unique characteristics. The combination of four elements - one Vineyard, one Variety, one Vintage, and one overriding method of vinification (Vision) - allows for a true, precise reflection within the larger, magnificent mosaic of terroirs that define Champagne. 2013 was the first vintage for the Pinot Noir in the Huré brothers' "4 V" Champagne series.

2013 through 2016 Vintage: Grapes came from the windy lieu-dit of "La Perthe" in Ludes, on sand and clay soils. The rows go up the south-facing slope, benefitting from both the morning and afternoon sun.

As of the 2017 vintage: Grapes are sourced from "Les Champs Pourceaux" in Rilly-la-Montagne on limestone soils. The brothers prefer the more chiseled expression from this terroir in riper vintages.
