Additional Info

Created in 2012, the cuvée Chardon Marie is the most Haut de Gamme of the domaine. A parcel selection from their domaine, this wine comes from the vineyard with the most large, rounded river-rocks. Particular care is taken here for the trellising in order to maximize exposition of foliage.

This is the most concentrated and powerful wine of the domaine. The name “Chardon Marie” references not only a special thistle variety found around the domaine and used in homeopathy, but also pays tribute to Jérôme’s grandmother.

Note: In some vintages, this cuvée will have a touch of Grenache, but no more than 2%.
