    • Terroir: Located in Perno, a hamlet of Monforte d'Alba. South and southwest-facing, 380m average altitude. Sand, marl, and clay soil.
    • Viticulture: Sustainable. No chemical sprays, grass and weed control by mowing. Organic methods of disease control.
    • Vinification: Destemmed. 4-5 week ambient yeast fermentation in stainless steel tank. 2 pump-overs a day for the first week then once a day for the remaining time. Daily punch-downs of the cap by hand. Aged 18 months in used barrels and another 18 months in bottles. Fining when needed, no filtration. Minimal additions of SO2 when needed.
