    Additional Info

Benjamin Leroux describes this as one of the best 1er Cru terroirs in Meursault, next to Perrières. This parcel is owned by the domaine.

Through 2016, Leroux produced two 750ml bottlings of Genevrières: a "Dessus" version and a "Dessous" version. To simplify, in 2017, Ben decided to label the 750ml format as "Genevrières" and bottled the "Genevrières Dessus" cuvée exclusively in magnums.

In 2024, the top and bottom sections of the vineyard were replanted, so for the next few years, there will no longer be a Genevrières Dessus cuvée and the wine will be bottled exclusively in 750ml format.
