- Vinification: 50% destemmed, 15-day maceration in tank, ambient yeast fermentation. Aged 12 months, half in tank and half in barrel.
Additional Info
This vineyard belongs to Jean-Charles, Ben Leroux's right hand man. It has been in his family for generations and he farms it himself with the precision and care of a proud father. It is completely enclosed by walls, but also surrounded on three sides by buildings of the village of Volnay, making it a uniquely sheltered terroir despite its higher altitude.
