    • Terroir: Above the village of Echevronne, just below Fussey, on the border of the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. Southeastern exposition, moderate slope, 400m altitude. Stony, limestone-marl soil. High active calcium content leading to a lessened vigor and limited yield.
    • Viticulture (domaine): Organic with biodynamic methods and phytotherapy (see domaine profile for full details).
    • Vinification: Crushed, long (6-hour) press cycle, ambient yeast fermentation with pied de cuve, aged 12 months in 228L and/or 600L barrels, no fining, occasional light filtration, minimal SO2 addition only if necessary during aging and before bottling.
