    Additional Info

This 1er Cru lies just above Richebourg; the resulting wine is often considered a more subtle version of Richebourg wines.

2012 Vintage Burghound Issue 53: This is slightly more aromatically elegant with high-toned aromas that feature essence of red pinot fruit, Asian spice nuances and soft floral undertones. The very supple and relatively forward middle weight flavors possess a satiny mouth feel before terminating in a mineral-inflected, detailed, balanced and mildly austere finish. This is also quite understated and pure. (90-92)/2020+
