    • Variety: Pinot Noir
    • Size: 0.70 ha (1.73 ac) but only ½ of the fruit goes into the cuvée
    • Vine Age: Planted in the 1970s
    • Terroir: From Clos Magny, above Corgoloin, just before the limit of the Hautes-Côtes. East-facing, 300m altitude, sandy soil on limestone bedrock.
    • Viticulture: Organic (not certified), Poussard pruning, no leaf removal, manual late hedging with shears.
    • Vinification: Vinified and aged without added SO2. 100% whole cluster. 5-9 day semi-carbonic maceration in stainless steel or wooden vat. 14-16 day alcoholic fermentation, started with a pied de cuve and by lightly crushing the grapes. “Pump-overs” with buckets to wet the cap and 2-3 foot punch-downs near the end of fermentation. Aged for 10-18 months in used barrels (228L and/or 350L). Blended in tank for 1 month. No fining, no filtration. SO2 added before bottling (approx. 10 ppm).
