    Additional Info

Pascal says that he used to be quite content to describe his Vosne-Romanée village, then a blend of 9 terroirs spanning the length of the appellation, as a highly representative example of Vosne. But for a decade he had been vinifying the parcels separately and trying all sorts of blends. Finally, he decided to make three Vosnes villages with a much more coherent geographical and textural definition.

Pascal: “It’s deep and rich but not heavy. A friend of mine compares it to a provincial barrister: distinguished, presents well, doesn’t appear to be generous. But the wine is not what it appears to be at first glance and is in fact generous. It’s multi-faceted. It is more complex than Quatrains and with a less obvious spine than Précolombière.”
