    • Terroir: Located in western Franken, along the Main River, 190-300m altitude. Iron-rich red sandstone soil.
    • Viticulture: Organic methods (not certified), homemade composts, diverse cover crops.
    • Vinification: 5-35% whole cluster, 12-17 day ambient yeast fermentation in open-top wooden and concrete tanks. Aged for 14-16 months in used barrels. No fining, no filtration.

    Tradition is a blend of younger vines in GG and 1G sites and very old vines located at the foot of the slopes.
